Welcome
To those of you who have been invited or just stumbled upon this site, welcome! Please look around and explore. If you find any errors (which I know are bound to exist), please don't hesitate to let me know. There are over 30,000 people in this database. There is no way that everything is correct. I've concentrated on my main line, so as the branches spread, the accuracy may diminish.

Over the past 20+ years, the majority of this data was compiled by my dad, Al Damon. Of course, there was a lot of help from other family members as well. A big "Thank you" to all of you on our behalf. Together, I think we've built a fantastic repository of material for everyone to enjoy.

Latest News
May 2017 - Found a few Bisbee items. Photo of Jones Bisbee (1809-1874) and his family. If you can identify any of his children, please let me know. A promissory note from Moses Bisbee (1765-1852). And the family bible for Anna Bisbee (1806-1878). This bible itself is in pretty bad condition, but the pages with family data were in good shape. If you are a direct descendant of Anna Bisbee, let me know. I'd be happy to make arrangements to transfer possession.

January 2017 - From a conversation on Ancestry.com, I was made aware of a book called "Beyond the Blue Mountain: Bartholomew Pastoral Records." It includes births, baptisms, marriages, and funerals (deaths) conducted by Rev. Abraham Bartholomew. He served the area of Carbon, Lehigh, Schuylkill, and Northampton Counties from 1861-1903. Not much in the way of brand new information, but quality source material. I could finally put a full middle name to many that were previously only an initial.

24 June 2015 - Added new photos from Nathan Dean's Family Bible.

23 May 2015 - Made my first trip to Washington County, Georgia; home to the Bowen, Holt, Pritchard, and Turlington lines. I was glad to be able to clean several tombstones and take much better quality photos than those that have been circulating around different sites. BEST FIND: in a book called Pritchard Kin by Strick Newsome, there were photos of the tombstones for Thomas Turlington and his wife Mourning Smith. I had never seen these before. The photos were from the 50's and the site has since been turned into a field. I also got to meet Mr. Newsom. What a great man and family historian.

20 Jul 2014 - Ancestry.com recently added Pennsylvania death certificates to their collection. I've added over 100 of these high-quality, color images.

13 Jun 2014 - Acquired a deed from my 8th great uncle, Experience Damon, Jr (1693-1726) from Scituate.
