Notes |
- After returning from WWII he was very excited about being home and making it thought the war with no problems. On his first day back they had bought a new tractor and Clarence wanted to be the first to try it out. He ran on the side of a hill and the tractor rolled over on him and crushed him killing almost instantly. His family tried to get him free but could not get him out quick enough and he died of wounds and loss of blood. Everyone in the family was very upset and took his death very hard, as he was a well liked man and respected for his war effort.
